Aryaman Natt – piano teacher and accompanist

Pianist Aryaman Natt recently finished his MMus at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama receiving a distinction in his final recital. Having grown up in the Belsize Park area, where he had his own lessons as a beginner all the way through school, he is now offering piano lessons to those wishing to join his growing studio. He teaches students of all ages and abilities but is especially encouraging those who have some proficiency with piano or another instrument to consider having lessons. As well as offering piano lessons, he is available to work as an accompanist for singers and instrumentalists.

He has performed locally at St. Peter’s, Belsize Park and at Burgh House, Hampstead, both as a soloist and with his piano quartet, the Barbican Piano Quartet, formed with colleagues from GSMD. He has also performed at the French Ambassador’s residence in London, Milton Court Concert Hall, Hatch Recital Hall at the Eastman School of Music and further performance venues in the USA, France and Spain. In 2018 he was a prize winner in two international piano competitions: the Euregio Piano Award and the North International Music Competition.

As a teacher he takes an encouraging and supportive approach to music making and focuses on developing well-rounded musicians who learn not just to read notes and play from the page, but who develop their ability to listen and play by ear, to improvise and to gain an understanding of harmony and theory. All of these things are part and parcel of being a true musician who can more fully and completely enjoy themselves in the profoundly beautiful and immersive experience of making music.

Aryaman Natt is based in central London
